Frequently Asked Questions

Reflexology therapy is a natural, non-invasive modality based on the principle that specific points on the feet, hands, and ears correspond to different parts of the body. By applying gentle pressure to these reflex points, reflexology therapy can help stimulate the body’s own healing processes, promote relaxation, and improve overall well-being.
-
While both are hands-on therapies, reflexology therapy focusses on specific pressure points rather than massaging muscles. It works through the nervous system to encourage balance and healing in corresponding areas of the body. A reflexology therapy sesssion affects the entire body, including internal organs and systems, whereas a massage can focus on one specific body part.
-
Aromatherapy uses essential oils extracted from plants to support physical, emotional, and mental health. These oils can be inhaled or applied to the skin (diluted with a carrier oil or lotion) to promote relaxation, reduce stress, ease discomfort, and enhance overall wellness.

Many clients report:
- Reduced stress and anxiety
- Improved circulation
- Better sleep
- Relief from tension and discomfort
- Enhanced mood and energy levels
- Support for overall well-being
Everyone is different, and your experience will be unique to you.
-
For reflexology therapy, you’ll relax fully clothed (minus your socks) on a comfortable treatment table, and only your feet will be worked on. Treatments typically last 60 minutes. For aromatherapy, I will use a lotion with custom-blended essential oils suited to your needs. For "M" Technique™, a gentle, choreographed series of movements will be performed on the hands, aiming to activate skin receptors that send calming signals to the brain.
-
Reflexology therapy and aromatherapy are generally safe for most people, at every age and stage of life. However, certain health conditions may require modifications. Please let us know about any medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or medications you’re taking on your intake form and during your consultation.

It depends on your needs and goals. Some people come weekly for ongoing support or more frequently to get on top of a situation, while others book monthly for maintenance or relaxation. I am happy to recommend a schedule that works for you.

At the moment, I am only able to direct bill for clients with coverage from GreenShield. I provide receipts for all reflexology therapy sessions to be submitted for reimbursement by your insurer.
